University of Colombo (UOC)
Role: Lead Coordinator, Programme Management, Curriculum Development, Online Platform
The University of Colombo is ranked first in Sri Lanka and among the top 1,000 universities in the QS World University Rankings. Its Faculty of Arts leads the IGnite project, with the Distance Learning Centre providing the LMS and IT infrastructure for online delivery. UOC hosts the project coordinator, the Programme Management Committee, and the Programme Office.

The Department of Geography and Environmental Management at SUSL brings extensive experience in interdisciplinary education spanning regional development, environmental management, and climate change. The department has completed projects with the University of Helsinki, the International Water Management Institute, and the US Department of State.

University of Peradeniya (UOP)
Curriculum Development, Academic Advisory, Programme Delivery
With approximately 23,000 students, UOP is one of Sri Lanka's leading research and teaching universities. Its Departments of Sociology and Geography have integrated sustainable regional planning and climate resilience content into their curricula, making it a natural contributor to IGnite's interdisciplinary degree.

University of Zagreb, Faculty of Geodesy (UNIZG)
Academic Advisory, Curriculum Development, Quality Assurance and Monitoring Lead
The Faculty of Geodesy at the University of Zagreb is internationally recognized for its expertise in satellite technologies (GNSS and Earth Observation), spatial data infrastructure, and smart cities. The faculty has completed 8 funded Erasmus+ and H2020 projects including BESTSDI, EO4GEO, GEOBIZ, and SEED4NA.

Erasmus University Rotterdam – ISS (EUR-ISS)

ISS is a research-led, teaching-based international graduate institute of policy-oriented critical social science, internationally recognised for its interdisciplinary, engaged knowledge production. EUR-ISS brings expertise in political economy, development studies, post-war transitions, and ecopsychology.
